A. Genex Showcase Miniature
Museum is a miniature collection of historical, educational, and entertainment
figurines and structures that represent various ways we have expressed ourselves
through sports, arts, fine arts, and social lifestyles.
Q. Where does the name Genex come from?
A. The name Genex denotes
the period in which most of the museum's exhibits fall-beginning with the late
fifties to the middle nineties. This period is often referred to as Generation-X.
Q. Where is Hampton Roads?
A. Hampton Roads is centrally
located on the East Coast of the United States in the state of Virginia. It consists
of several fast growing communities and water is in abundance everywhere.
Q. Is a miniature museum needed?
A. Collecting is a 55 Billion
dollar plus industry and a vast majority of collectibles are in the hands of private
collectors. Our intent is to make these collectibles available for the pleasure
of the entire pubic.
Q. Will exhibits change
from time to time?
A. Yes, the largest portion
of the exhibits will be permanent. There will be new inventory arriving on a frequent
schedule. Special areas will be set aside for limited engagement private collectors.

A. The museum is designed for
students, educators, professionals, children, researchers, collectors, and museum
enthusiasts.
