The Company

Searching and not finding! That’s what led to the beginning of the company. We looked diligently over the years for many famous collectibles of the past and quickly discovered they were indeed difficult to find. These collectibles were scattered everywhere and were largely in the hands of private collectors. As we collected various items we were amazed at the vast number of collecti-bles that have been produced over the years, but are no longer available.

The idea then became apparent! Why not create a setting where people can still see these history making collectibles? The idea of Genex Showcase Miniature Museum became a reality in 1995. The last several years have devoted to developing a large inventory base which includes a wide range of selections. Grand opening is scheduled for the winter of 2009. Please take a virtual tour and read our newsletter for new updates.

The Company holds membership in the American Association of Museums, the Virginia Association of Museums, the Souvenir/Gift and Novelties Trade Association, the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, as well many other related organizations.
